WTO Chair Programme 

2009-2010 

The Department of World Economy is undertaking a research project on the subject: ‘Contemporary model of energy security at the global and national levels within the concept of sustainable development’ supported by the Ministry of Higher Education of Russian Federation.

The research objectives were:

• identification of the key factors influencing the transformation of the regulatory system in the international energy sector;
• analysis of the global and national models of energy security, including -- above all -- the place and role of major exporting and importing countries, the activities of sovereign funds, and international, intergovernmental organizations and institutions.
